Like I said, it felt like years, but when I looked back at the blog I realized it had only been fourteen days.

I was determined to finish it because it's incredibly heavy, and I was tired of carting it around to the exclusion of other things I like to carry. And I found that the Cook letters were best read all-at-once (to keep everything in mind), so I'd speed through those, and I devoured the rest because I liked it.

I haven't gotten much else done these last few weeks, that's for sure.

I'm glad that you like the review...and the book! I don't know anybody else who has read it.Adam Thorntonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05634565262440008573noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32999748.post-59404301181039884962007-09-24T16:23:00.000-04:002007-09-24T16:23:00.000-04:00I agree with you 100% about everything you say abo...I agree with you 100% about everything you say about LETTERS...and that's why I list it as my favorite novel of all time (right after Ulysses). But how the hell did you finish it in 2 weeks?! I wish I had that kind of time nowadays.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
