This makes me laugh and laugh and laugh:
It's from season two, episode four of "Look Around You," a bizarre British spoof of '80s educational programs. While most of the show requires complete viewing to enjoy, this clip stands alone. I can't describe how much I love it.
If you want more, here's the clip that got me hooked: a look at synthesizers with "Synthesizer Patel." My God.

I loved the dry, deadpan humour of the first series, but I haven't seen much of the second yet. After this (Rafferty!) I'll have to.
I hope you like it! I'd previously watched some of the excerpts on YouTube, but it's all much funnier somehow when you see it in context.
When I saw Rafferty I almost spilled my cereal. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time!
Interesting that you'd comment, I've just started watching the full Jam (and Jaaaaaaaaam) episodes, so long after you posted the "Mr. Lizard" clip. The same applies: somehow it builds a "weirdness momentum" that's more effective in one sitting.
I think I prefer the first season, as Eli said very dry. I'm lucky that a friend made me a DVD of both seasons.
I had to watch the first clip three times because I couldn't stop laughing...I swear I could hear echoes of my big sister in the bird-lady. Thank you for the giggle.
