UPhold Update: The "Damage" is Done!

Whew! The new UPhold CD-R, "Damage," is finally ready. I have 34 printed, labelled, and personalized copies of the first limited edition ready to send out.

If you're interested, you can order one of your very own...and don't forget to pick which "flavour" you want!

I've always been rather partial to "accident", myself...

Enjoying those new tracks now too. I especially like how the rhythm on "Icebox" develops toward the end.

"Accident" is yours! I'll send it along.

"Icebox" was one of the first tracks I completed, and it was a Logic Audio learning curve: with so many elements with different frequencies, the "apparent" volume didn't match with the "actual" volume of the final mixdown...so it was clipping constantly, and it took a lot of experimenting to learn how to "tame" the volume: reducing the volume in different sections of different tracks, tweaking the effects, learning that sometimes Logic will register a clip and other times it won't...

What Icebox eventually taught me was that a certain amount of clipping is okay! Though I can't really say why...
