Dr. Seuss and Flit: "Selfless Death"

Awwww, this one is truly sad. Not even the ubiquitous cat could bear to be in it.

From the December 7, 1929 issue of The New Yorker. Weep!

As the resident Mosquito Masher, I feel for the guy. I really do!

I understand what it's like to perch precariously and give the bug a whack. I've recently been batting about 5 for 5.

But after you've dispatched one to Bug Heaven, another shows up for the funeral.

Flit, please!
