This follow-up to "An Early Queer Cruiseline?" doesn't seem half as gay as the other one, but it's nice to see that the "Jolly Pleasure Pirates" are still ranging the decks on November 10, 1928.

That's certainly the best ad for a cruise I've ever seen. Heavy with subtext, but the appeal is universal. They should re-use it.
I've been media sheltered recently, the last cruise ad I've seen was that commercial featuring smug couples and Iggy Pop's "Lust For Life", which IIRC is about a dying junkie. But it *sounds* happy.

Hmmm, yeah, I'd have to think twice about an Iggy Pop "Lust for Life" cruiseline. Like, am I GUARANTEED to pick up a tropical flu and get really sick?
