Sick Long Weekend Catch-Up

Since I am too ill to spend my night dancing and my head is too foggy for bloggin', here's a quick update.
  1. My cat has not pooped as of yet.
  2. One nice thing about having a spiffy new computer is that the old games -- which I could barely play on their lowest settings -- can now be played with maximum eye-candy. So "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" looks particularly good. I just have to remember that it's more effective to shoot enemies in the head instead of the groin.
  3. Want to see a great scary movie? I highly recommend "The Ruins." Holy vegetable-infested cow!
  4. Yesterday I decided I wanted to drive to a lake. I looked on the map for the one closest to me, then drove all the way to Floradale to find it. And guess what...there's no lake there! There's a tiny one, but the enormous one depicted on the map just didn't seem to exist.
  5. I did NOT receive the "Record Save and Sell" this Friday, which is a good sign.

Poor Muffy.
I hope you are feeling better soon.
I hope Zsa Zsa is feeling better soon too.
I am glad your new computer makes your games more eye catching. But although it may be more effective to shoot your enemies in the head rather than the groin is it as much fun?
I like a scary movie now and then so I will, one of these days, be sure to check out the movie "The Ruins". Thanks for the recommendation.
Who knew there was a lake in Floradale? This is what I like about your blog Muffy. It is so informative.
As for the Record Save and Sell, you have proven the really loud complaints get the best results. Good for you!

It certainly IS more fun to shoot them in the groin...but regardless of where you actually shoot them, they always clutch their stomachs and shout "Oh mein Gott!"

I'm glad you enjoy the blog, along with the latest information about Floradale's lakes! Once all the bacteria has vacated my head and lungs I'll get back into regular posting, too...

I would highly recommend conestogo lake for an afternoon jaunt. Don't ask me how to get there though; Tanzi and I ended up there by mistake thanks to a horrific detour on our way to Flesherton.

You're not sending me to another fake lake, are you Kimber?

Conestogo is very pretty...I keep on driving through it in search of interesting things. Now's the time to search for interesting things IN Conestogo!

Whoa whoa whoa - keep in mind that Conestogo lake is actually NO WHERE NEAR Conestogo!

Whew, thanks for the warning!

I'm sure Google can clue me in...
